Tropical storm Basyang (international name: Conson) hit manila on July 13, 2010. It packed winds from 95 to 120 km per hour. At midnight of that day, there was a massive blackout in luzon. As of 9:30am of July 14, 2010, cellular service are as follows:

 Globe: Low signal to none

Sun: No signal since midnight
